A Memorable Day
I have been waiting for that day for a long time. Not really that long actually. My eldest sister was coming back from Hong Kong on tuesday. I can still remember the day where she made her way to the airport just before my school holidays. Having been unable to spend Christmas with her, I was really looking forward to spending some quality time together. My eldest sister graduated from her Masters in Brisbane after being there for five years in Australia. You may wonder how did she end up in Hong Kong when she was in Australia, but actually, she went to Hong Kong to look for a job to experience how it would be like first.
After taking my bath, my whole family left for the airport to pick her up. As we entered the arrival hall, there were throngs of people there. Some were crying and some were smiling happily. It was really an emotional place. We walked towards the baggage claim and waited. And waited. Everytime a long hair girl walked towards us, we would get really excited thinking it was my sister. Finally, after much 'tension', we saw this familiar person pushing her trolley with many huge luggages piled on top of one another. And indeed, it was my one and only eldest sister!
Just like any other parent, my mother was the first to run up to my sister. My mother hugged and kissed her. The most ironical part was that my mother was crying although it was only a few months and that she should be happy that my sister was back. I guess this shows how much a parent actually loves their child. My second sister and I also could not contain our excitement for we had so many stories to tell our sister. After this, we all left for home sweet home for dinner as one family.
My eldest sister has always been nice and loving to me. She was always a friend when I needed help or advice. I have always enjoyed her company and I am really looking forward to spending Chinese New Year with her. I definitely know that we 3 siblings will have alot of fun together! MoogaliA!
